Ersela Kripa is a registered architect and a founding partner of AGENCY.
Ersela is the recipient of the Founders Rome Prize in Architecture from the American Academy in Rome. She is a board member of SUPERFRONT, a not-for-profit organization for architectural experimentation and creative interdisciplinary exchange. Ersela is currently an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University El Paso College of Architecture.
Ersela has taught in graduate and undergraduate university programs across the United States and abroad, and has been an invited guest critic at several leading universities, including Columbia University in the City of New York, Washington University in St. Louis, Pratt Institute, City College of New York, Cornell University, University of Waterloo, Tulane University, and the University of Kansas, among others.
Prior to founding AGENCY, Ersela held leadership positions in internationally renowned offices, designing and managing projects through all stages of design and construction, investigating and implementing innovative use of materials and sustainable construction methods in the generation of several award-winning projects.
Ersela holds a Bachelor of Architecture with honors from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, where she was the recipient of the Kinne Travel Fellowship for sponsored research in architecture and urbanism.
