Appropriated Environments in Long Island City

AGENCY partners Ersela Kripa and Stephen Mueller are  invited by Socrates Sculpture Park and the Noguchi Museum in New York City to conduct a popular public educational event entitled ‘Seeking Space – Appropriated Environments in Long Island City’, which explored the many transformational interventions bridging arts and community participation in Long Island City and speculated on new models for intervention in the neighborhood’s changing cultural context.  Events included a public lecture, guided public tour of neighborhood environments, and public discussion at the Noguchi Museum.
